Vanessa is a law school graduate from California Western School of Law and received her BA at the University of California, Riverside. Vanessa is licensed to practice in the State of New Mexico and in the United States Federal District Court, District of New Mexico. Vanessa has devoted a substantial portion of her legal career to advocating social justice, pro bono legal services, and offering affordable access to law, particularly to underprivileged and underrepresented communities. Vanessa fervently represents her clients in legal matters involving: criminal defense, real property law, landlord-tenant law, and other areas of law. Her professional affiliations include the New Mexico Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, New Mexico Hispanic Bar Association, and H. Vearle Payne American Inn of Court. Vanessa lives in Albuquerque, NM with her son Justus.
