Poor customer service, kept increasing bill and time with car for what should have been a simple serpentine belt replacement. What should have been a 1 day project took 4. Car devoloped a new problem which was very evident a few months later and was causing my car to make a horrible noise. They had used the wrong screw and after 2 days to figure this out, they couldn't and said please take the car somewhere else despite being on warranty. Took it to a dealership, they figured it out in an hour, it was pep boys work on the car in the past and using the wrong screw. Pep boys then responded they didn't have the screw and didn't want to order it. At that point we just paid our dealership to fix it

I needed my serpentine belt replaced on my 2007 Chevrolet Impala , they quoted me $455. I asked them why so much, without looking at the car, he showed me on the computer that they would need to replace the tensioner and some BS about having to remove the engine mount to get at the belt. I had it replaced at Jiffy Lube for $91

Went in for the oil change special and was told they didn't do that anymore. charged 31.99 for conventional oil change. Car went in to the shop fast and then I waited for over 1 1/2 hrs. Finally got in the car and the steering wheel was cover d in dirt and grime. Had to scrub hard to get the stuff off of me. Terrible experience
