I have nothing but praise for the removal of old & installation of a new cooktop. Work was done quickly and the low charge was a good surprise. I will call them again in the future.

In the last 2 years service has deteriorated. Demeanor of repair men especially to women is disappointing.
They did seem able to diagnose the problem. They planned to come back to fix it, which was okay , but then they changed the time of the appointment and CHANGED the price, in the middle of our job. We lost our money

Horrible experience with this company. They will rip you off first chance they get. Lesson learned.

Calvin's is very prompt, professional, courteous and reliable. Had to call them twice this month for a/c and refrigerator drain. I was able to get an appointment the next day. Prices are reasonable also, I would recommend trying them for any home service.

They do a great job and usually send a technician over the day you call them if you call early enough. The only problem is they are very expensive. Be prepared to pay a lot even for small jobs.

They sent a tech to build the bottom of my fireplace. When i questioned them about it, he said that I will see once it is finished. Their boss called for them to finished another job. They came back many days later to what I thought to finish it right. I found out from the city's inspector and another company that the hearth will collapse. I asked the general manager Wayne to please send someone else to do it over. He said no. And they will not give me the $600 I paid for it back. I cried. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.

I have been seeing commercials on TV for Calvin's on a daily basis. I decided to call them today and ask them to fix a few things at my house. They told me they do not service my area. They will only go as far as the Walker city limits. I live less than 2 miles from the city limits. I guess they have more than enough business and they don't need mine. I will make sure I tell everyone I know to never use them.

Company has alwasy managed to send someone out same day I make the call - low service call fee compared to other company - Used for washing machine and refrigerator service - very positive experience on my part both times I have used them in this last year. Will make this company my first call from this point foreward - G Martin

Called them out because pilot light wouldn't stay lit on my gas water heater. There is a $65 charge just to show up, even if they don't do anything. Instead of cleaning the orifice and earning their fee, they simply quoted me over $1600 for a new heater (available elsewhere for $1,000), or over $400 for a new gas control valve (had one installed by a plumber for $200), neither of which were necessary. After a call from me explaining how someone else actually diagnosed and fixed the problem, they still elected to keep their $65 fee.

We use Calvin's for plumbing, electrical, airconditioning, heating repairs and installations. They are honest, prompt and competent.
