The Camden County Department of Health and Human Services provides medical, mental and public health and education services for the residents of Camden County, N.J. It serves more than 500,000 people with acute and rehabilitative patient care, as well as provides training to physicians and other health care clinicians and conducts patient care-related research. The department offers a variety of specialized health programs, including adult health services, women's cancer screening, school health, child health clinics, family planning services and special child health services. Its additional programs include communicable disease control, immunization, public health nursing, nutrition and health promotion.
