I came here and it was amazing the food was delicious and so was the service I was very comfortable here and they always make you feel very welcomed. Thanks for always having the best food in town!!

Throughout the meal we were serenaded by the wonderful sounds of the rushing creek, very therapeutic. No matter which way you were seated there was a beautiful views of either the rushing creek, the nearby mountain tops, the lush flower bed or the rustic restaurant . The meal took the experience to another level. We started with the escargot. It was the first time that I had ever tried them they were excellent. We moved on to our entrees, I had the Halibut which was the fish special for the evening, it was perfectly cooked with great flavor.

I come here and the food is great and so is the service I cant wait till next Monday so I can go again.

Your first few steps in the door draw you in with its welcoming decor and classy feel. Whether you are waiting to be seated or are simply enjoying a drink at the bar: you can spend hours eying the historic photos, decorations, and ornaments that adorn the inside of the restaurant. Everywhere you look you see a small piece of Boulder history.

The scenery here is absolutely amazing! It makes you feel at peace while you are eating a delicious meal that is served by great people. This is one of my go to spots when I want to get away and eat!

Professional, respectful, charismatic and very attentive. Even when you first sit down, you are welcomed by trusting and responsive employees who truly care about your experience. Although incredibly minimal, mistakes do happen, but every single employee at the Red Lion will go above and beyond your expectations to make sure that you feel compensated for any irregularities in your service. As your dinner progresses, you being to notice that the amount of attention you receive from the staff only improves and increases. By the time you're paying your bill, you don't even want to go anymore.

I personally believe that you can never pay too much for excellence, but thankfully at the Red Lion, you never have to.

WE ARE FROM BOULDER AND HAD NEVER VISITED THIS RESTAURANT AND WE WILL NEVER EVER VISIT IT AGAIN!THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST FOOD I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN SUCH AN EXPENSIVE TYPE RESTAURANT!FIRST, THE FOOD WAS SO LUKE WARM, IT ONLY TOOK MINUTES BEFORE IT WAS VERY COLD! THE GARLIC MASHED POTATOES WERE SO OLD THE OUTSIDE OF THE POTATOES HAD FORMED INTO A HARD SHELL! MY BAKED POTATO WAS TINY AND OLD ALSO - SO OLD THE MEAT OF THE POTATO WAS STUCK TO THE SIDES OF THE OLD SKIN!MY DINNER SALAD HAD OBVIOUSLY BEEN MADE IN THE LUNCH HOURS AND SAT IN THE FRIDGE ALL DAY. IT WAS VERY SKIMPY AND THE RANCH DRESSING WAS HORRIBLE! IT TASTED LIKE NO-FAT RANCH DRESSING!WE ARE HAVING GUESTS COME HERE TO BOULDER TO VISIT IN EARLY AUGUST AND WE WERE GOING TO TAKE THEM TO THIS RESTAURANT. WE WILL NOT BE DOING THAT NOW!THEY SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO TRAP TOURISTS AND BE REWARDED FOR SUCH INCOMPETENCY.
