      The Plant Barn has been open for over 30 years and is the oldest locally owned garden center in Chico/Durham. Owner Denise Kelly bought the Plant Barn in the Fall of 2006 and has been "taking it to the next level" ever since, according to her many loyal customers Please stop by, introduce yourself, and take a leisurely look at what makes the Plant Barn such a special place If you do come by, be sure to pop into our wonderful Gift Shop which is in a 100 year old barn that was once part of the original Entler Ranch The gift shop is filled with unique and one-of-a-kind items for your home and garden. Take your time, relax, and stroll through the nursery and the greenhouses...you'll find new discoveries every day.

      We asked Rebecca at the Plant Barn to select plants for our yard design and they assembled all the plants and told us where they should go. Now almost 6 months later, the yard looks absolutely fantastic. Their plants grow faster and get larger than the home warehouse plants. It's worth it to pay a few pennies more for a plant that will live and make you happy. I recommend the Plant Barn. M. Jacobs
