I usually do not share bad experiences with a business but this experience was so outrageous I feel it needs to be shared. If you are need any alterations DO NOT go to LONG CLEANERS in Miamisburg. They charged $800.00 ($60.00 hr) to perform alterations on a wedding dress that should have cost 150.00 according to other cleaners/bridal salons. They would not provide a estimate up front, and did not inform us that the alterations were based upon 60.00 per charge despite numerous inquiries through out the process. After the dress was completed their "story" continued to change with every conversation regarding fees. Dry cleaning the dress after the alterations were completed proved to be very interesting. Originally the cost for dry cleaning was 280.00 but changed to 90.00 when we decided not use them for the service and asked to have the fee deducted from the original fee they verbally quoted of 1200.00. Mr. Long accused us of "being those kind of people "that are trying to get out of paying our bill because we questioned the outrageous fees. We called other cleaners and bridal salons to compare prices. I can honestly say I have never been treated so rudely or been so blatantly mislead about a service. This experience was unbelievable!! Beware of this dishonest business that treats long standing customers horrible!!
