Located in Des Plains, Ill., Ballard is a healthcare residence specializing in long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services, and skilled nursing. The center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Healthcare Organizations for providing long term care and subacute services, meeting the needs of the residents. Its rehabilitation services include outpatient and inpatient services, general medical, orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation services, rehabilitation for dementia patients, respiratory care, ventilator care and weaning, post-surgical recovery, antibiotic therapy, parenteral and enteral nutritional therapy, wound care management, and 24-hour skilled nursing services.
