Just Google their name and look for the reports of "smudged" paperwork.
Short version is that you agree to say 100 payments but the multi layer paper you sign shows more like 150 or in one case... 119 payments became 240...

We took our RV in to General RV for some warranty work. Bruce Carter was great in getting the appointment scheduled. When we picked up the RV, Paul DuLuca went over each item listed on the warranty work order. All of the work was done to our complete satisfaction and they had even went beyond what had been requested on a couple of items. Paul helped us with other questions we had, going so far as getting us a copy of the directions on the Domectic heating/cooling system. He made us feel that we were the only customers he had to work with at that time. Thanks to everyone who helped us.

I am women!! and a old one at that 70 I wanted a motorhome , I found one in Carson City NV that I like the people there where just nasty and thugs , then the heavens open up and I found General RV Center and Bobby, I bought a 2014 Fleetwood Excursion 35B , I have never had a motorhome and was blank when it comes to one General has been so so helpful and just wonderful, And they always call you back . General RV was great to work with.I had small issue with a error with the financing and Rett quickly fixed the problem. The sales people were great and friendly to work with. I would recomend General RV to anybody out there looking for a RV.

If you are purchasing your first trailer, take some time to become familiar with some of the equipment you will truly need, like hoses, batteries, and other accessories before you go pick up your rig. They give you an hour long "orientation" where they try to scare you into buying equipment for leveling, and positioning that they happen to have for sale in their store at huge marked up prices. Wooden blocks work just fine for most blocking and leveling needs. And they will tell you that you need a special hose to fill the water tank because regular household hoses result in a bad taste permanently being left in the tank. Again this is a scare tactic that is false. A regular higher quality household hose works fine, and if if you let it run for a few seconds before you fill the tank, you will get little if any taste. We have shopped around and have found accessories at much cheaper prices elsewhere. Don't fall for these tactics.

I am the same customer that did the previous review. I just called General RV Corp Offices. They were EXTREMELY nice and VERY helpful! They did say sometimes when they start up a new center it takes time to get everything working smooth. They took my information and said they would make sure it was being processed. And that was just one phone call, then I get a return phone call from someone else who said he would look into this, I'm thinking maybe a owner or something like that. He said he would call me back the next day and make everything right. I am VERY IMPRESSED! The company is true to it's word. They are a family company and they want to have people come back! That is customer service above & beyond!

Our salesman was good, but the finance dept is AWFUL! They talked us into buying a warranty & (UT law) we canceled it days later. We were told they could NOT change the pmt on our trailer, but they would get the paperwork done showing we did cancel this warranty & send it to our credit union & our loan would show the credit. We have waited 2 months for this to happen and still nothing. We call and can't get return calls back. The finance dept is quick to take your money & to get you to sign a contract but waiting 2 months for the paperwork to be sent to our credit union showing the credit is poor customer service!
