Since 1955 Mata’s Fruit Store has been serving El Paso with our unique mix of traditional border flavors and everyday grocery staples. We feature a full service meat counter, in store tortilleria, and complete bakery. Come visit us downtown at 826 S. Stanton St or at one of our other two locations; Amigo Market in the northeast at 3334 Fort Blvd, and Papa’s Fruit Store on the eastside at 11335 Montwood Drive.

They have the best tortillas. I love going to this store because the employees are so kind and cheerful. I live in Northeast El Paso and I don't mind going the extra miles
Best meat prices in El Paso. Also the best fresh made flour and corn tortillas. Great selection of produce and a full service bakery.

Great cake had party at a restuarant they asked where we got the cake!
They are the worst people I have ever encountered. I would say their service is also the worst but they will not even talk to us. We tried to order a cake online for my daughters birthday and not only did they not acknowledge the order but when I tried to call to see what was going on with it, they repeatedly hung up the phone on me and my wife. If thats the type of business they want to run I hope it fails into the ground!!!
