Not bad if what you want is to do something together with your dog. However, this is not the best environment for serious training. I also have the impression that the trainers are not that experienced. I do not want to name anyone, as they are overall keen to help and well-intended, I think. I took my puppy to the first level classes and decided to not continue onto the other levels. Instead, I put the money towards real obedience training and it's being worth every penny. When you think about the time and skill spent agaist the results you get, Petsmart is not the best nor the cheapest way to go about it. So, depending on what you want, you might want to consider private training sessions where you get a training program catered to your dog's needs and what you want to achieve with your dog. Don't let the fact that Petsmart is a big national chain discourage you from trying their training classes! Yvonne is just as knowledgeable and talented as some of the top independent trainers in El Paso (and FAR better than some that aren't all they claim to be)! She takes the time to observe and discuss a dog's strengths and areas that need improvement, and she helps owners learn how to bring out the best in their dogs.
