New Management very nice! Low priced stay! Convient to I-10, halfway between Houston and San Antonio. If you expect the amenities of a $200 per night hotel then stay in a $200 per night hotel. If you and your family need a bed and a hot shower, a break on a long road trip, a convient central location, accommodating management, then stay at Grumpy's. Easy to find, right off the Interstate. Great Buffet Restaurant across the highway Called Mo's, ask for directions. On 95N less than a mile from hotel. Stay at Grumpy's go have lunch at Mo's. Best two values in Flatonia. Yes I met both owners/management. If you travel across Tx this is an easy in/out and priced right. A lot of folks found a cheap stay at Grumpy's after Katrina moved half New Orleans across Tx.
