I've been putting off the possibility/necessity of a 360 L4-5 surgury for some time. I'm an active 70 yr. play pickleballold female. Dr. Kalra listens to his patients and provide an honest personal opinion. I was told that I would undeniably know when surgery was necessary. He explained the benefit of doing the 360 approach and I am grateful for his expertise as this was one of the best surgical experiences I've had. I had a very positive outcome and released to play pickleball after 8 weeks! It's only human to be fearful of having a surgery, but you'll be in good hands with Dr. Kalra and his medical team. Highly skilled, compassionate, with a good bedside manner best describes this doctor and his practice. I would highly recommend Dr. Kalra and his amazing team.

Dr. Kalra and his staff were very kind and provided me excilent care. They answered all my questions before and after surgery. My recovery was better than expected. I would recommend Dr. Kalra to anyone who has been suffering with back pain.

Seriously this was THE best expereince EVER! Dr Kalra is phenominal and his staff equally so! I was in constant pain since an injury in 2004 that only worsened. The only thing I regret was not having Dr Kalra do the surgery sooner! Dr Kalra does all things with a spirit of excellence and is so very kind. He explained things very well and didn;t mind having to re-explain when I forgot! :) He made sure I had everything I needed in every stage of the procedure (pre-op and post-op). I am now 7 months post-op and have no pain!!!!! Can't thank Dr Kalra and his staff enough!

The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming , I didn't have any problems making my appointments they were able to accomodate my schedule . Dr Ricky Kalra was very professional took his time with me and explained my treatment options thoroughly manner . I felt comfortable with him taking over my care and needs for my back pain . Dr. Kalra did an excellent job of diagnosing and treating disk problems in my neck. The nerve pain I was experiencing before is gone. I am very happy with the outcome.

My expierence was very easy. I came in for a consultaion, made a apt for surgery, got the surgery, and am on my way to recovery now.

The surgery was difficult, but none of the difficulty was created by Dr Kalra or his staff. Any time I needed to talk to someone, make an appointment, or get questions answered, I was always able to reach somone, and I got what I needed.

I truly believed that this process would be impossible. I was sure something would go wrong, and that I would suffer forever, but it didn't go this way. Dr Kalra is skilled. He knows his craft, and is way ahead of the curve when it comes to being a comforting presence.

I was referred to Dr. Kalra after having neck pain from an 18 wheeler accident. The neck pain had not resolved with other treatments at a previous doctor. My first visit with Dr. Kalra was so informative. He read my history from the previous doctor and was well versed on my situation before meeting with me the first time. Unfortunately the only option was surgery. Dr. Kalra and his staff made me feel very comfortable about the surgery and included me in my treatment plan. I was afraid and he and the staff made me feel heard and calmed me as much as possible. Before the surgery could take place, the injury became worse. Dr. Kalra and his staff made time for me emergently and pushed my surgery up as far as they could. The surgery was a success!!!! I am 2 months post op and i have zero pain, no tingling, no headaches and full range of motion! THANK YOU DR KALRA

I cant even describe the pain I was in from a herniated disc and pinched nerve. I knew I did not want a traditional spinal fusion. I researched an found out about Mobi-C or artificial disc replacement. I really liked the increased mobility it offered. Dr Kalra was listed as someone that had advanced training in this procedure. From my very first visit, he and his staff made me feel very comfortable. Everything was fully explained and all my questions were answered. Great communication before, during, and after surgery. All the pain from the pinched nerve was gone when I woke up from surgery. Only mild discomfort for a week or so at the surgical site after surgery. I cannont reccommend Dr. Kalra and crew enough. If you or a loved one needs surgery, you don't want to go anywhere but here. Thank you Dr Kalra!

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Kalra and his team! He is extremely caring, personable, professional, accessible, and I truly sense he cares about his patients and helping them acheive their treatment goals. Dr. Kalra performed a 360 spinal fusion on me a year ago, and I was able to acheive complete pain relief in my lower back after 20 years of debilitating pain. Dr. Kalra is an excellet listener. He is compassionate, understanding, and truly gifted with his skills. His staff is excellent. They are kind and very efficient. My wife and I are astounded. I have almost no pain in my lower back now.

Over the course of the past two years, I have had several surgeries requiring interactions with a number of different doctors and surgeons. Dr. Kalra is by far my favorite of them all. He spends time with his patients to explain what the problem is, how he is proposing to address the problem, and what can be expected as a result of the procedure(s) he will be performing. He has recommended other specialists for issues I am experiencing and had conversations with them on my behalf. His work is top notch, and his follow up visits are very informative. He answers all questions in a way a layperson is able to understand. His staff is extremely efficient, friendly, helpful and you don’t have to wait long to be seen. Based on my experiences, I trust and would highly recommend Dr. Kalra.

I met with Dr. Kalra 3 times before deciding what surgeon I should use. Dr. Kalra spent 40 minutes with me at each appointment. He explained everything, listen to my questions and didn't rush me out the door. His staff, as well as his team at Legent Hospital was wonderful as well. I had no strength in my arm and a constant, intense, nagging pain that wouldn't allow me to sleep and had me almost in tears, constantly. I was referred to Dr. Kalra and I am so glad that I was! He explained my issue, told me what he recommended, and what I could expect. Dr. Kalra replaced a disc in my neck and I was back to normal fast! He and his staff are extremely kind, even putting up with my constant questions. I would recommend Dr. Kalra all day long to anyone who will listen!!

This is my second surgery with Dr. Kalra. Obviously, my first experience was good as I followed him to his new practice when I started having problems again three years later. Dr. Kalra is conservative and doesn’t immediately start saying “let’s go to surgery”. He takes time to explain what is going on and what needs to be done. He will explain this more than one time, if needed, as in my case. He is very reassuring and answers questions thoroughly. I have 100% confidence in Dr. Kalra.

I have had quite a few surgeries/procedures, so I am not new to needing intervention.
But Br. Kalra did everything in his power to make sure I understood everything that would happen/could happen before, during and after surgery.
Before surgery we tried PT, injections and medication first because he didn't want to run straight to surgery (huge plus in a doctor). He also took his time to explain my MRI's to both me and my husband which is important to me because he included my husband in all decisions and important moves.
During surgery/Preop he came and spoke to me about exactly what would happen from the moment I went under to the moment I would wake up.
After surgery his office called me at home to make sure I was taken care of and made sure I did not need anything.
All followups have been quick, simple and purposeful.
I would reccomend Dr. Kalra to anyone expericing back pain or any other neurological issues as he does both brain and spine.
