We've been going there for years. Generations of my husband's family have been here. From when the kids were young, we go know as adults. My Mother-In-Law discovered this place.

They have the best thin crusted pizza in the world. And I mean that. The crust is amazing, the sauce is out of this world. It does get crowded there so unless you get there when it opens expect to wait to be seated and for your food. But trust this family it is soooo worth it. We go there often and we even go for casual family gatherings. Our kids come from PA and MA to go here. They also serve alcohol. Go to urbanspoon.com to see what else they have. ALL THEIR FOOD IS GREAT! Famous Sliced Steak Sandwich is also a favorite. Just a heads up they only take CASH. NO Credit Cards, Debit Cards or Checks. So bring money with you. f you read bad reviews ignore them some people are just impatient. If you go there expect to wait like I said earlier but if you go, have a drink, bring ppl with you that you will have a great time with, have a appetizer(order as same time as pizza's) and sit back and enjoy yourselves. They also have great desserts.

Great pizza! The sauce is VERY tasty! The pizza was PACKED with toppings,the crust tasted perfecto,and they use a GREAT quality cheese! Now,onto the steak sandwich.It was very tasty,had LOTS of meat on it,and the lettuce/tomato on it was very fresh! The service was very good! Oh,and yes it was clean.I was so amazed this is my 2nd favorite pizzeria in Hackensack,NJ along with Brooklyn's Brick Oven Pizza.I'll be back!

SJustini who wrote the other review has no clue as to what makes a good pizza or steak sandwich. The two people who recommended the place, obviously do. This person is basing an opinion on a one time experience, while I've been there very many times. Generally the place is crowded, especially on a weekend night.



The pizza is the best thin crust pizza I've ever had. The balance of ingredients is just right. The recipe has been the same for many years, which keeps bringing customers back. When I think great pizza, I think The Lido.



The steak sandwich is the old fashioned open-faced sandwich served on buttered toast, a great break to take from a diet.



While the Lido hasn't changed its menu (or its decor) in years, what it offers is well worth having. They also serve a nice shrimp cocktail and salad. And the beer is cold.



It's a family run business which has obviously always taken pride in what they do. Prices are also very inexpensive. Service is good even on busy nights. I highly recommend the Lido in Hackensack. Aside from all else, the Lido holds on to its help. I guess they are as good to their help as they are to there customers.

The food is great. The restaurant can use an overhaul. Paint, new fixtures, but they have the best PIZZA.
