Ted Smith Law Group spent all of my retain money in administrative stuff and no results on the case. This case was drop by the firm because it was contested by the opposing party in other words too difficult and by this time was not resolved or completed. They only take easy cases so they can make quick easy money. I would like an audit to see how the money was spent. It took over a year without any progress, multiple attempts to communicate with them were met with negative results. This firm is like a revolving door for lawyers and paralegals, they go in and out in a matter of weeks. I went through four different lawyers who left the firm without an explanation, not even having the courtesy of letting me know before hand that my lawyer was about to change. One day a lawyer talks about the case and the next week he's nowhere to be found and nobody neither track nor follow up on your case. Thousands of dollars went to the firm with no results and now I need to find another lawyer. Also they overcharged me on emails, calls and visits. In a nut shell; they will not work for you, their main concern is to get paid, really bad customer service and a money pit with no results whatsoever.
I have dealt with 3 other law offices in my disability claim process. This office was the first to actually prep me for the hearing. The stayed in touch with me during this time with any updates. I would recommend the Ted Smith Law office to anyone!
I highly Recommend this firm for any of your legal matters. I've dealt with a few others that were nothing compared to the professionalism and prompt service as Selena Salinas. She was very responsive to all my inquiries and questions and gave me a clear understanding of my divorce process.
Jillian French and Selena Salinas are an awesome team they are straight forward and very helpful they tell you straight forward on what it is and they will do there best to help you and be honest with you about how much it is going to cost. I would recommend them to anyone they rocked my divorce case and I came out on top. Utilize them they are the most helpful I have found in the Killeen, Ft Hood area.
I had a wonderful experience with Jillian and Selena. They were extremely helpful…I had to do my whole process via email and telephone and they both made it a painless experience. They were easy to get in contact with and if not available always responded or returned my call within 12 hrs. I would recommend Jillian and Selena especially if you need assistance and your not in the local area.
I had a consultation and the attorney felt that I had a case. They wanted me to pay them right away to take it without answering any of my questions. They never returned my phone calls or emails. I even had a scheduled callback with the attorney and she never called me. If you wantva law firm who will handle your case with a sense of urgency then this is not the law firm for you.
They can't seem to retain staff.

My recent experience with Laurie and the rest of the staff was excellent. They understood our needs and were very attentive in handling my wife's social security
case. They were able to win her case on appeals which took a lot of pressure off of me. My wife died soon after but with their help I was able to give her the funeral she well deserved.
Do you want a good attorney at a great price then I would recommend you look elsewhere.
I have NEVER seen such unprofessional behavior as I have witnessed from this firm. The staff has been good but the attorney that handled the divorce case - not so good. When the firm was retained for a divorce it took them three months before dialogue was initiated with opposing counsel and before documents were drafted for opposing counsel. Fast forward several months mediation agreed to, completed and signed off, waited an additional three months for final court hearing. Received final decree for review, made some minor changes, one month later attorney has NOT seen or approved changes, the final divorce hearing came and went.
Complete incompetence does not being to explain the frustration in waiting for a divorce to be finalized.
You want to wait a year or two before your divorce is final than this firm is for you.
COMPLETELY KILLED MY FAITH IN ATTORNEYS!!!! STAY CLEAR IF LOOKING
TO GET A DIVORCE!!! I went in on the 2nd of may and had a consultation with Shana Einhorn. I have to say I didn't feel very confident when I left that day. I was going to put $1200 down for a contested divorce and Shana kept commenting on how I would be so far behind the 8 ball by the time the got everything done that I would have to pay more for a total of $4000. So, reluctantly I put down $2000. After that and going over the contract to find out that they charge for every phone call, email and visit to the firm; Ted Smith Law group literally nickel and dimes you, I felt even more dis heartened. They also made it very clear that the client is soley responsible for contact with the firm. Well, 3 weeks go by and I have emailed Shana a total of 3 times and no response. I was told by her and her assistant that day that I would receive a copy of the petition in email and I would need to confirm it before it was served to my ex. IT NEVER HAPPENED. so I typed a letter stating I would be terminating our contract and expected a full refund. Only after I hand delivered my letter and had her assistant sign for it, dis I hear from Shana via email that evening. Too little too late, literally. They hadn't even filed with the county to start my 60 days and hadnt finijed the petition. SO BASICALLY, $2000, 3 weeks and NOTHING DONE! NOTHING.
The lack of service and lack of perfossional courtesy demonstrated by Shana Einhorn and the Ted Smith law group is absolutely unacceptable!!! incompetent, unprofessional, disappointing and zero time management skills. I beg of you to listen if you are seeking a divorce. You will wish you had taken my advice if you hire them.
