The firm was founded in 1963 with a principal emphasis on construction law. While the firm continues to practice in all areas of construction law, representing contractors, municipalities, private owners, surety companies, material/equipment suppliers, and design professionals, the scope of practice now reaches into nearly all phases of civil law. The firm is a member of the Associated General Contractors of Connecticut, the Connecticut Subcontractors Association, and the Connecticut Construction Industries Association. The firm is very active in mediation, arbitration, and litigation throughout the Northeast. Attorneys of the firm are admitted to the bars of Connecticut and Massachusetts.
