November is my "health" month. I began with a consultation with Dr. Tullus for a colonoscopy. Friendly office staff. I found Dr. Tullus to be engaging, professional and thorough. Colonoscopy was promptly scheduled and directives explained in non-intimidating manner.

Registration for colonoscopy: as expected, fill out paperwork. Staff was prompt, engaging and professional. Wait was 10 minutes.

Colonoscopy day: admitting staff was efficient and professional. Nursing staff was knowledgeable, professional and had a pleasant bed side manner. Dr. came to speak with me prior to and after procedure.

Follow up was impressive, called the next day to see if I had any questions or concerns. I was contacted again today to see how I was doing, if I had any questions and given an opportunity to share my opinion of how my start to finish experience was.

mammogram: Scheduling staff, paperwork, and promptness on scheduling exam were streamlined.

Wait time for registration was maybe 5 minutes. wait time for exam was maybe 4 minutes. I found the technician to be very kind, conversive, and professional. She was awesome at explaining what she was doing throughout the mammogram.

Follow up to mammogram: results took less than a week.

Blood work panel and dermatologist appointment followed the next week. Again, registration for blood work was stream lined with promptness and professionalism. The technician that drew my blood was professional, prompt and by golly I didn't feel the poke and had no bruising.

A volunteer then escorted me down to the new dermatologist's (Dr. Rowe) office. Wait time was maybe 3 minutes. Office staff was engaging and professional. Dr. Rowe was very approachable and thorough. He provided me with understandable explanations of my options. A few procedures were preformed in his office.

All in all, I was at Hill Regional Hospital on 5 separate occasions in early November and found nothing but a professional, clean and engaging environment.

If you love your family do not take them to this emergency room. If you are wanting your relative to become the "dearly departed" this is the perfect place for you!

The worst place I'd ever been! My kid ran into the side of the chair and started craying. A little while later the dr enters the room and says 'will yall keep it down I will be with you as soon as I can.' It was disrespectful. Then the nurse comes in and is asking questions like 'why did I come to the ER vs their dr?' And I said 'because I was dropping someone off at work first off and their dr is three towns away.' I don't feel like I need to explain this at all!!! And she said 'well it cost more money going to the ER and when they are on Medicaid that is taking money from us TAX PAYERS !' As if I didn't have a job. And I walked in WITH SCRUBS ON! They were rude! I was the only person in the ER(that I saw) And they took foreverrrr!! This place CLEARLY DIDNT CARE ABOUT COSTUMER SERVICE
