Interfaith Ministries works for improvement of the welfare of humankind by providing interfaith resources for awareness and healing. The ministry facilitates inter-religious dialogue and provides social services in Houston. It works with different communities of faith, including Baha'I, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jain, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Unitarian Universalist and Zoroastrian. The ministry also operates Meals-on-Wheels programs for seniors. Its interfaith relations department facilitates interfaith activities designed to promote dialogue, foster relationships, deepen understanding and facilitate cooperation among Houston's diverse faith communities. Through its Foster Grandparent Project, the ministry connects seniors with at-risk children who need extra assistance. Interfaith Ministries was rated as four star by Charity Navigator.
