Best Cajun food around! Or food is always cooked to perfection. The wait stuff is always very nice. I have been going since it opened in 2004. There new location is wonderful. Thank you bring upscale food to Hudson Oaks Tx

Well my wife and I went to the new location on Friday, April 17. The experience was not encouraging. We both ordered the crawfish-2 lbs of the saltiest crawfish I have ever tasted. Three was no spice taste but the salt was overpowering to the point of being inedible. The female server-complete with an array of visible tattoos was accommodating and we then offered the fried catfish. Uh,Mr.Chef.... We are not used to flour encrusted, non seasoned catfish filets. If anyone is contemplating Cajun seafood, might I recommend Pappadeaux's in Fort Worth. Their catfish for instance can be ordered seasoned or not, but the important thing is that they use corn meal..... not flour. The fries were not plain... They were the kind some restaurants use with some kind of costing, the purpose of which is to keep them crisp. Hudson oaks had no it gained a good Cajun/seafood restaurant. Instead they gained just an ordinary wanna be. I got conned reading about this chef/cook...He has a long way to go but then Louisiana is. not that far.

Yuck

At one time there food was good. We went and the food was so salty you could not eat it. We had most of our meals refunded. Will not go back.

Over priced and terrible food.

Great food!

Boo Rays food is out of this world! You won't believe how good a southern dish like chicken fried steak can reach a new level with a loisiana touch put on it! The wait staff on the other hand could use a little southern hospitality!

EXCELLENT! The food is wonderful and a lot of it and the wait staff is very attentive. You can always go there for a good time with family or friends. They have dining inside and out. The atmosphere reminded me a lot of New Orleans. It's as close to cajun cooking that I've found in the Texas area.Call in advance because they are always busy at night, but they will get you in as quick as they can. Have been there for lunch also and it's not as busy but the food and wait staff are just as good as the evening shift. Go by if you get a chance, it is definately worth the time. If you don't eat cajun or spicey they still have something on the menu for you.
