Heartland Automotive is a manufacturer of interior and exterior automobile parts. Its products are plastic molded, painted and assembled at its production facilities. The company s parts are used in consoles, pillars, head liners, aprons, rear gates, exterior claddings, and instrument and door panels. Established in 1987, its production plant is spread over an area of more than 355,000 square feet. Heartland Automotive has achieved ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification. It provides products for Subaru of Indiana Automotive and Toyota Motor Sales. The company is fully equipped with a water-jet robot system, powder slush machine, and headliner and vacuum forming lines. It is a subsidiary of Shigeru Company Limited, which manages a staff of over 650 employees and was established in 1960.
