This all volunteer organization is truly in it for the animals.
Glad to know that this community driven non profit works from the heart!

I needed to drop a dog off to find it a home. waited an hour, called emergency number only to have some finaly come by and tell us they could not take large dogs. I am mainly upset because there was no hours of operation posted at all. The lady said they weren't open on Weds. This would have been nice to have known. There were 2 other people who come by as well to get animals but they too dint know what time the hours of operation either

Central KY Regional Humane Society is a one of the best, new humane societies that I have been to. I can see where there group is working hard to provide the best for animal welfare here in central KY.

The building they have as their shelter is under constant revision and from talking to the volunteers, they know the areas that need improvement and are striving to meet those improvements.

I overall was pleased to see such an innovative group working with the resources they have.

They truly care for the animals they care for.
