Abuelo's is where we always meet when visiting family in Lubbock. The service is always fast and professional, and the prices are reasonable. We hardly ever have to wait to be seated because they have such a large choice of tables. But, most of all, the food is fabulous!

About the Cap Rock Band and its Fri. 6/30 performance. First of all we are not regular lounge lizards but thoroughly enjoyed Hat Trick at Abuelo's Beer Garden last year. We thought we'd return for my 55th birthday with some 8-10 friends and enjoy Cap Rock, who was unfamiliar to us . Well we all left by 7:30 determined to never return again when they play. First of all the music was entirely too loud. My ears were still ringing 1 hour later. Second the lead singer was very insulting and unnecessarily rude in some comments he made to me. It ruined our night and we left.



I just thought you might like to here how certain patrons feel. We will continue to follow the Hat Trick bunch because they are less arrogant and loud.

PS. The service and food was great and everything was otherwise in place for a fun filled night.

Held a business meeting during dinner time. We were not rushed to leave so the table could be re-seated. Excellent food and beverages. Wait staff was attentive and well trained.
