Mike's is by far the best landscaping company around. Their design expertise transformed my parents property in Melrose and made it amazing. Added a hardscape, plush greenery and amazing flowers that bloom all season long. Highly recommend!

We are not sure we would recommend Mike's. Forgetting any of the reasons (there were reasons) we discontinued service contract. After the fact, having paid our bills, we asked to have our activity for last year summarized to help with an internal audit. They have not been able to even acknowledge the phoned in request with a simple email reply. I have talked to their office three times now, they vaguely hint at a potential charge, but not the cost nor any firm commitment to provide simple transaction data to a contract customer. I would be happy to retract any comments made about this matter on every customer review site I can find a listing on if they were made untrue by my request being handled.

General Info

Mike began testing the waters of the landscape maintenance and at age of nine years old, when he began mowing the lawn and manicuring the grounds of his parents and grandparents. When Mike reached the age of twelve, he became very interested in how to grow and tend to vegetables. This craft was taught to Mike by his grandfather, whom was a master gardener (from Italia). Mike continued to maintain family members living close by until the age of 14. Having very open-minded parents, and being inspired by the craft of landscape design and construction, Mike decided to redesign the landscapes of his parents and grandparents. After Mike was finished, the neighborhood became so impressed, that Mike began to immediately received requests from the community. Over the next year and one half, Mike grew to know, what he was destined for. In 1981, Mike officially opened for business and launched Mike's Landscaping Co. This was the major stepping stone of emergence for one of the most sought after and highly awarded landscape design companies in the country.
