I conduct sales primarily in the McAllen, Mission, Edinburg area. Whether selling a loved ones estate or your own I can help you. Once family/you/heirs have taken what they want I, with trusted helpers, come in and literally price everything in the home. There is a customer for everything be it fine antiques, furniture, jewelry, silver, etc. down to the items in the garage, yard or cleaning supplies under the sink. Number 1 rule is don't throw anything out...even "that old thing" you think is nothing!! After being in the antiques business since 1979 I have an eye for the odd or unusual item that might bring big bucks on eBay or that a particular customer may be interested in. Depending on the size and contents of a home it typically takes 3 weeks beginning to end to have a very successful sale. What is left after the sale, after many, many customers have been thru, is donated to a small local and very appreciative charity who pick up the leftovers and will give you a receipt.
