Hugo Zapata, M.D., is a board certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist who has serviced the Rio Grande Valley for over 25 years. Graduating top of his class, Dr. Hugo Zapata earned his medical degree from Autonomous University of Guadalajara School of Medicine followed by his post-graduate fellowship at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center and his residency training at Cook Hospital of Illinois. Since he started his private practice in 1988, he has stayed committed to providing women with the highest quality patient centered healthcare experience. Dr. Zapata provides care to women for routine gynecological visits, contraceptive management and normal to high-risk pregnancies. He considers it a privilege to provide healthcare to women and continues to practice medicine with the same passion as he did years ago. Dr. Hugo Zapata currently resides and practices in McAllen, Texas.

We are located on 501 Savannah Ave in McAllen, Texas. We are located near La Plaza Mall. Easiest route: Take the10th St. exit and turn right on 10th street if coming from the Mission area (west) or take the underpass if coming from the east. Once on 10th, take a left on Savannah Ave. Our office will be on your right hand side-white building with purple columns and a blue door, right across 5th street.
