Chris Luther, owner, at Straightline Painting has over 25 years experience with helping the Middle Tennessee area make their homes more beautiful on the inside and out. Feel confident that our professionals aren't satisfied with the job until you are. Our services include but are not limited to; interior and exterior residential painting (brush or roller), staining, wallpaper removal, filling cracks and holes, drywall repair, pressure washing, carpentry work, and deck refinishing. Chris was the most unproffessional worker I've ever come in contact with. He was due at the house "around 4pm." At 3:40pm, I got a text letting me know he'd be there around 5pm. At 5:12pm, I texted "ETA?" He responded, "I'm on my way," which was no answer to the question at all. 2 minutes later, he gave me a call, stating that he was 20 minutes away, but i also found out on that call that he didn't have his credit card reader on him so he had to turn around, making the arrival time around 6. I called him back 2 minutes later, lettimg him know i was cancelling the job because we had somewhere to be and my wife needed to get there. His response was "Really, dude?" (What businessman in his right mind blames the customer for his tardiness and calls him "dude.") He asked if he could make it up in the morning at 8:30am, I agreed. At 8:22am, due at the house in 8 minutes, he cancelled the job over text and the reason he gave was that his wife is the one who has used the credit card reader.
We contacted Chris to paint our condo. We had several bids, and he was the best. Not only did he have the best bid, I do not believe anyone could have done any better job. Chris and his crew were fast and did an incredible job. They moved our furniture, and even did some slight clean up from where we had painted a few years ago. I would, and will, highly recommend Chris to anyone who needs any painting. He was fantastic.
Mr. Luther painted our first house for us! He was so patient despite how anxious and annoying I was about everything being perfect. In addition to painting the entire house (inside and outside shutters), he also hung our chair rail for us in the kitchen. We were so pleased with the job he did, as well as how professional he was, we asked him to come back and restore our deck. We have been more than pleased each time Mr. Luther has done a job for us, working with him feels more like working with a neighbor or close friend rather than a stranger. He was attentive to detail and focused on exactly what we wanted as a customer.
Chris painted interior my house and all the trim. He did a great job and finished ahead of schedule.
I have a new home! Really it's just the old one with the entire interior repainted by Chris Luther and Straightline Painters. It's like my home was powerwashed from the inside and I am so pleased. He was reasonable, flexible and dedicated to a job well done. The only painter I will call from now on. You should, too!
