Voted #1 Pet Trainer two years in a row by The Daily Breeze *Best of the South Bay* After working as a behavioral counselor and trainer in Los Angeles for over 25 years with over 10,000 dogs and their owners, Brian has developed a unique and effective approach to raising your dog to be a well-balanced, well-mannered member of your family and society. Brian he has dealt with just about every behavioral challenge a dog can present. From puppy mischief to dangerous aggression, Brian is frequently the last stop for dog owners. Although his specialty is "the family dog," he works with search and rescue, guide, agility and therapy dogs as well. At Torrance Memorial Hospital, he helped select dogs for the pet assisted therapy program, and he has worked with multiple members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team, The California Rescue Dog Association and the FBI. Brian is a regular guest speaker at Pierce College for their Registered Veterinary Technician program and advises many veterinary hospitals and dog day care facilities on behavioral issues. Brian got his start in the entertainment world as the host of a live, local radio show on KFOX, where he took calls and resolved dog behavioral issues on the air. For several years, Brian also hosted the training portion of Animal Planet's "Eukanuba Tournament of Champions," a world-renowned, annual dog show. Brian was called on the set of NBC's "Providence" to resolve training challenges and handle one of the dogs on-camera. He then made guest appearances on numerous shows, including CBS's "Greatest American Dog Reality Show" and Animal Planet's "Beverly Hills Vet". Brian helped create A&E's "America's Top Dog," a show for which he was the lead dog behaviorist. Most recently, Brian appeared on Animal Planet's "Untamed & Uncut."
