Provided by YP.comMy family had a very disheartening experience with Right At Home (RAH) when we hired them to care for our terminally ill mother. We had various issues with the caregivers which we brought to the attention of RAH, but I believe the crux of the problem was poor management. RAH did not deliver what they stated/promised on their website.
Because of the problems that we had, I question how rigorous their stated selection process actually was. Their specialized training to match the aide to her assignment was definitely lacking. The Custom Care Plan for our mother was not particularly detailed and was basically composed from information we gave to their clinical director, not from an assessment done by her. The caregivers did not keep daily care logs. Regular, unannounced visits did not occur. Although we reached out to RAH with our concerns there was very little follow through from them.
Their mission to "improve the quality of life for those we serve" did not happen.

Provided by YP.comI hired Right at Home to care for my mother in her house. My worst fear was realized shortly after hiring them. Money and jewelry were missing from the home and I suspected the Right at Home caretaker as I found her rummaging through areas that she was not authorized to be in. After I was provided the caretaker’s full name, I did a simple Google search and shockingly discovered that the caretaker had been arrested on multiple charges, including larceny. I don’t know what is worse: either Right at Home did not conduct the “intensive 3-step process”, as represented both verbally and in writing, prior to hiring the caretaker or Right at Home knowingly sent a caretaker with a recent larceny arrest to care for my mother.
