Larry Duncan originally founded Boat City on Rivers Avenue in 1970. Throughout the years he brought thousands of Lowcountry families to the boating lifestyle. In 1996, Larry's son, Jim, returned to assume the responsibility for the company after a successful engineering career. In 2007, Jim purchased Duncan's Boats, located on the Ashley River in North Charleston. We are committed to Larry's vision of continuing to help families enjoy SC's waterfront through our mission statement. Our Mission Statement: At Duncan's Boats we will strive to provide for you, our customer, high quality boating products, exceptional customer service, and competitive pricing. We will maintain the highest levels of integrity and professionalism while providing a fun, friendly and safe environment for our customers and employees.
