Your employee Bruce, runs a side business of dog walking and dog sitting. I pre-paid for sessions for doggy day care with him. I am not going there anymore because my dog got sick at his house (and is now on prednisone). He won't refund my money after he told me he would yesterday. Bruce got upset at something in his personal life and decided he wouldn't refund me.
I felt like it was important to let you know who you have representing your business. Bruce uses your company name to enhance his qualifications to entice clients.

We love Dog Gone Smart! Our d...

We love Dog Gone Smart! Our dog has done puppy playtime, boarding, swimming, and day care.

She always comes home completely wiped out from playing all day. The staff does a great job separating dogs by groups based on temperament and are always very friendly and helpful. The facilities are always clean and well-maintained. I don't know what the person complaining about the pool was talking about; every time we've gone it's always been immaculate!

I can't speak for classes or training, but we can't say enough good things about DGS. Word to the wise: call in advance for daycare/boarding over a busy holiday weekend or school break. They are very strict about keeping the number of dogs to a minimum and tend to get booked up!

Dog Gone Smart is the best pla...

Dog Gone Smart is the best place for puppies. I went to their free 6 week puppy class which taught me so much about my new puppy. We also took advantage of their puppy swims on Mondays. What a great indoor pool. Now my pup has grown up but we still love to swim at least once a week. The trainers are great and are so knowledeable. The staff is there to help in any way they can and always make us feel good. I am going away for three weeks in June and have booked a boarding reservation - I can't imagine leaving my Sammy anywhere else!

Dog Gone Smart LOVES dogs. I ...

Dog Gone Smart LOVES dogs. I take my golden retriever there 3 times a week for Day Care and she loves it. She actually pulls me to the door so that she can get in there to play with all of her friends. On Tuesdays and Thursdays she gets to go swimming as an added bonus to day care. The people who work there are so kind to all the dogs and are very profesional. Maggie comes home happy and tired!

I had rented the pool for a half hour so I could go swimming with my dogs. I took one look at the pool and left. It was disgusting. I almost lost my stomach just looking at it. I would never ever in a million years let my dogs get in that pool. There was yellow clumps all over the bottom and stairs. It looked like throw up or condensed pee. On top of that the water was greenish and cloudy. Absolutely grotesque. I cannot believe people let their dogs in it. If your planning on dropping off your dog for a swimming lesson I suggest asking to see the pool before you leave. I could only imagine what infection my dogs would have gotten if I let them actually go in

I enrolled my dog in both private and group training. My dog actually regressed and when I examined Dog Gone's methods, realized they were practicing 19th Century techniques, such as prong collars and muzzles. Neither is effective, and could be damaging, when trying to resocialize your dog. They try to put you down, saying you're not being the "alpha" which is bull. So are there methods and how they teat customers. Once you give em teh money, they could care less.
