The doctor was insensitive and we question his diagnosis. We had our dog examined by another doctor who contradicted the information and while looking over our dog noticed a couple of things that the doctor from Nuevo Road Animal Hospital did not.

Their doctor basically called us liars, was insensitive to our concerns, and in general had a do not care attitude.

We have been receiving care for our dog and he has ultimately passed away. Had we listened to the doctor at Nuevo Road Animal Hospital, he would have died on the surgery table then and we would not have had the opportunity to say our good byes and spending the last weeks of his life making him happy and comfortable.

By far, this was the worst experience in a healthcare environment, human or animal, that we have experienced. No way we ever come back.

Went several years ago to put my dog down who couldn't walk and had cancerin his mouth. I was hysterical by the time I left, it was such a lengthy ordeal.

GREAT VETERINARIAN! I WOULDN'T TRUST MY ANIMALS WITH ANYONE ELSE! He really cares about animals and tries to do as much as you will allow him to do..


on the other hand....STAFF IS NOT SO NICE!

11am appt for simple recheck. They finally took her back at 11:30 after I mentioned I'd been waiting for 30 minutes. Got out of there at almost 12:30pm. For a recheck.

The doctor is more about money than anything else - he doesn't seem to care about his customers or their pets. I heard a woman in the office complaining about her bill and they said that her pet was already in the office getting fixed and that if she didn't pay she wouldn't get her pet back - I couldn't believe my ears! I walked right up there and told them if the bill was wrong they should fix it and be reasonable about it. She was nice but said it was up to the doctor, not her. She went to get the doctor on several occasions but kept saying he was too busy to come out and talk to her... We were the only two in there for the past 45 minutes so I don't see how he was so busy. She was in tears and I vow never to return. Just seems so petty.

He's very gentle and knowledgeable. He treats my pets like "people". He talks to them and gives them the care that's necessary and what's best for them.
