This clinic was sold by its former owner, Bruce Burch- now "he just works here" , according to ifront office staff. Every past experience with him was exemplary; now the support staff is abrupt and rude, and I find the level of care provided to be substandard. See my full evaluation posted Dec. 2014 on Yelp. I will sadly never go there again,,for any reason.

Family Pet Clinic is a great place to take your pets. We have had to take 2 of our dogs recently, very last minute, and they have been extremely accomodating. They are gentle and calm with even the most frightened animals, and had great "bedside manner" with me as the pet owner. They are extremely affordable. The Clinic is clean and quiet; and now open on Saturdays, a huge plus for me since I work all week. I would highly recommend Family Pet Clinic of Phelan to anyone.

A stray cat that I've known since birth showed up one night looking like a coyote got her by the throat. I wasn't sure what to do. My heart dropped to my stomach. I knew that I needed to get help, medicine, or call a rescue person.



My neighbor and I concurred that we needed to call someone. A good friend helped me contact Dr. Burch.

Even through his dinner he guided me to a pharmacy for an anti-biotic for "Cat."



After 10 days of TLC she is back to being a "calmer" feral cat. Thanks to Dr. Burch "Cat" is doing really well and so are the two babies that she had given birth to. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. B!!!

I have taken my animals all over the high desert to different vets and by far, this is the best vet I have seen. The knowledgeable staff and very friendly veterinarian made my experience wonderful. Their prices were down to earth and not inflated (unlike some other super-fancy places). My pets and I won't go anywhere else, even when I move down the hill or to Big Bear in the next couple years.
