This is absolutely the most disrespectful, unprofessional, combative doctors office I have ever had to deal with. The staff with the exception of maybe one or two and especially the office manager Sharon are a complete and utter joke. I was asked to pick up medication (samples) for my sister which I have done numerous times. I called Friday 10/19/18 at 9:05 in the morning. The call lasted 11 minutes because I was on hold for some time. I spoke to a woman who sounded new, because she sounded like she had absolutely no idea what she was doing, but was told they had no one new at that time. I told her I was going to pick up samples and wanted to make sure they were ready. She told me that they were ready and started to say something about my sister needing to call to give permission because I wasn't on the HIPPA. I told her that I have picked up meds for my sister numerous times and asked her if she still needed to do that. She then said after checking with another employee in the background "no you are fine you can just come and get them."
I arrived to pick them up around two or so only to find out that they were in fact NOT ready. I was annoyed however the staff was handling it. That is until the narcissistic office manager Sharon budded her fat ass into the situation. She immediately started by interrupting me every chance she got when I was trying to explain the situation. So I then interrupted her and than asked her how it felt.
I had to get my sister on the phone which was completely unnecessary. This whole situation erupted and escalated quickly all do to that so called office manager. Like I said the staff was handling it and there was no need for her to get involved. The whole situation was a complete and utter cluster f*** and I told them so. Sharon the office manager also had the nerve to accuse me of lying about calling ahead even though I showed her my call log.
The office manager told me about 8 times that "they give samples as a curtesy and that I should think about that" in a threatening manner. I work in the medical field. I know samples are a curtesy however that is the doctors decision to give them and not theirs. Also my time is important also. When I call and am told something is ready I expect them to be ready. I told her with all the social media and websites to leave reviews she should think about how she treats people and think about her words before she says them. When I asked for Jefferson's Patient Relations phone number she laughed and said "No you can google it with an attitude."
I never would of left this negative review if it wasn't for the narcissistic manager Sharon and how unprofessional, disrespectful and combative she was with me. To give you an idea of how out of line she was the receptionist was mouthing "I'm so sorry" to me as this was going down.
