I was married on April 2014 at the wedding chaple, it was a mess..Nicole said she would marry us and we paid for the traditional package inwhich she said would cost more money because she had to get someone else to come in that day to help her..our wedding was to start at 3pm nicole told me and my husband to be there between 2:30 and 2:45 she said she wanted us to be there before the guest came..well me and my husband got there around 2:30 and the place was closed we tried calling and got no answer around 2:45 still no one around 2:55 our guests started to show up and no Nicole.I started to become so worried by that time my photographer had showed up and everyone was standing outside. 3:00 is when Nicole mother showed up She didn't say sorry for the wait or why Nicole wasn't there. I was so mad!!! My guest wasn't suppose to see me until the ceremony had started!!! Sooooo disappointed!! When we went inside Nicole mother had to set everything up in the room..so I asked her was Nicole coming and she said no and that she was going to marry us. Then she told us she was going to also take our pictures but I had told her we had our own photographer..and even if we picked the picture package from them how in the world was she going to marry us and take pictures..I then gave her a cd that I wanted her to play while me and my bridesmaids walk into the room..she put the wrong song on and then looked frustrated when I told her it was the wrong song..then she had the nerve to tell one of my guest to tell each on of my bridesmaids when to walk into the ceremony room and told my guest when to cut the cd off..my thing is I paid you over $500 dollars to get married in your place you should not be asking any of my guests to do anything. So that really pissed me off. And then the way Nicole mother looked that day was a mess it looked like she just jumped out the bed and through her clothes on and pushed her hair back in a pony tail I wish I could put her pic up along with this review I was so upset. In my package we were suppose to get a cider toast at the end with our guest but we didn't get it. All my guests said they would never get married there or recommend that place to anyone. Please look around at other places...I wish I had.

My wedding was beautiful. Juts wish the room was a little bigger

Horrible!!! I called them a week prior my wedding day. we wanted to have ceremony in our yard. a lady said it was no problem as there are 3 people working, and they can do it any day and any time. so we had arranged everything (sent invitations, ordered catering ect) for the day of our wedding. i was told i can stop by on tuedsay to leave a deposit and drop off a license. I was calling on that day all day, nobody picked up the phone, went there - it was closed. I left a voicemail - nobody called back. same happened next day. by the end of wednesday i got in touch with someone, and she told me to come on thursday at 9.30am, and her assistance would arrange eveything with me. i was there on thursday at 9.30, i spent 2 hrs waiting in front of the door. noone showed up. I called 100 time, left voicemails. noone called me back. EVER. I waisted a lot of time, got stressed for nothing. nobody ever called back to see if i am still interested in having a ceremony.

The Wedding Chapel of Philadelphia is a wonderful place to have an AFFORDABLE intimate, traditional, and beautiful wedding. I had a garden wedding and an intimate reception on September 1, 2013. Nicole, Michael, Toy, DJ Smooth and everyone involved in my special day, went out of their way to make sure my wedding was beautiful. It was personalized according to my taste and colors and they worked with me regarding the ceremony and reception. I had very little worry, they handled everything and allowed me to bring in additional items to personalize my wedding and reception. From the decorations, to the food, to the music, to the photographs, to the overall feeling of the day, I could not have asked for more. I was able to have a dream wedding, in pink and white, and afford a wonderful Caribbean honeymoon without hurting my bank account. I THANK the Wedding Chapel of Philadelphia for that! When I returned from my honeymoon, my official marriage certificate was waiting for me. If you are looking to have a beautiful, romantic, intimate wedding without spending a ton of money, I definitely recommend The Wedding Chapel of Philadelphia!!!

I got married there on 1/11/13. It was more lovely than I could have ever imagined. The place looked great, the price was right, and everyone was nice and made you feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone getting married on a budget and wanting something small, but still very beautiful! Christine Byrnes

Rev Nicole is very organized professional and looked great. Service was fast and on point. The folks were really nice and took care of us like we were their best customer. They kept the atmosphere friendly and light hearted.If you're looking for a stress free wedding, these guys are the real deal. I will 100% recommend it to everyone on their big day...

my husband and i wanted to renew our vows, so we set up a date just last week (oct 6, 2012) with myself, my husband and our toddler son. it was perfect. intimate, personal and special. we were warmly welcomed, Rev. Nicole took the time to really speak to us and get a feel for who we were - we were offered to either perform the ceremony inside or outside and we got remarried! it was as simple as that and so affordable. Nicole said a few words - that uncannily mirrored the same sentiments that my husband wrote to each other (we wrote our own vows) - and she blessed the rings and she had us recite official vows - not the typical for a "first" marriage - but wording to fit a reaffirmation and she was moving and we moved her as she was crying by the end. it just felt so personal and we really got the feeling she CARES. she and her mother (the photographer) were wonderful with our 2 yr old and she took some really beautiful pictures (only 75.00 extra) - taking the time to set up the shots and position us and placing us around and "in" a tree, window shots - they really make the most of the grounds and find amazing placements for pictures where most of us would just see a bush, or a porch or a tree. My husband, child and I were completely at ease and felt so comfortable and intimate - it was really a very special day. If you are looking for a small quiet ceremony, intimate and affordable and personal, then this is a great place to look into. it's charming, inexpensive and we actually enjoyed the whole event from start to finish. relaxing - no stress - for our renewal it was perfect. while most of the reviews i read were on the positive side, I did notice some negative ones - all i can say is - if you are interested in a place like this, at least check it out for yourself before just relying on any of the reviews, good or bad - decide for yourself...I personally think you will be quite happy if you do.

This woman is crazy!!!!! When visiting, Nicole, the officiant gave this long spiel about how they make each ceremony personal and all this other crap. This was far from the reality. She comes in poorly dressed with her hair disheveled. It seemed as if us being there was an inconvenience to her and that she would rather leave, which she did about three minutes after she rushed us through our drive through wedding. She walked around the room tking bad pictures of us as she performed the ceremony which had to be the most bizarre thing about the whole experience. I would definitely not recommend this place at all. It was a horrible experience!!!!
