Do yourself a favor and do NOT go to this dentist!!! The service was mediocre at best and she was supposed to give me a deep cleaning and gave me just a regular and wanted to charge me for the deep cleaning, which is way more expensive. I did not bother saying anything since they said it was all covered by my insurance and I did not have to pay anything out of pocket. I called the receptionist "Debbie" and before making the appointment, gave her my insurance info and number and asked her if the procedure was covered, cos if it wasn't I could not afford to pay for it myself. She said she checked and it was all covered. My insurance have me $500 per year, and she said it covered the exam, x-rays and the deep cleaning. I double checked with her the day of the appointment and she said "do not worry, you do not have to pay anything at all, the insurance covers it all." A few months later Debbie calls me and says that my insurance does not cover it and they want $1800 to cover the expenses, although they already had taken $435 out of the insurance. All of a sudden, not only they wanted money they never quoted, but they increased the price, from $500 (to be taken from insurance) to $2000. What a SCAM!!! They told me I had nothing to pay out of pocket, they perform the cleaning, which i cannot return, and then they want $1800 more? I am a student who works part time and barely pays the bills. I would have never gotten the deep cleaning if I was told it was $2200. They sent my case to collections and decided to ruin my credit. I complained to the Better Business Bureau and they are investigating her. Clearly they do not run an honest business and try to scam people. Do not go there, unless you want to be scammed and spend countless hours trying to prove your case and receive countless calls from collections, for something you should not owe in the first place.
