This was my first time hiring Vick's Tree Service and I would highly recommend them. They came when they said they would, did a great job on the trees, asked for my input when they ran into situations that needed judgment, charged what they said they would, and asked me to review their work before asking for payment to make sure I was satisfied. In all, very trustworthy, competent, knowledgeable and professional.

Do NOT pay them until the work is complete!



Hired them to do some tree trimming and yard clearing for 2 days with 3 guys. First day was Friday and seemed to go ok, but we weren't home to watch.



When they showed up Saturday, Vick asked for payment, and since it looked like work was progressing we did. This was a mistake.



Every time we looked outside the rest of the day, there was at least one guy standing around doing nothing. Then they just disappeared 2 hours early, without completing the work.



We called to complain, and Vick tried to say they had finished. But we know for certain they left at least 2 hours early, although they could have left earlier than that and we just didn't notice.



We finally convinced him to come back out to complete the work, but probably only because we had told him we had additional work to be done. They showed up on time, but with only 2 guys, so we expected 3 hours of work. Again, they took off without any notice after an hour and a half.

We've used Vick's services for many years and are always satisfied. They guys work all day, and they haul away all the (huge) branches they trim from your rooftops, chimneys, and yard. They spray the cut ends, reach the smaller stuff with hand saws on poles, speak English, are very professional, and never made me call 911 as they climb out on those big oaks!They're insured and bonded. We're in Westlake.

Hired Vick's to remove a number of mature oaks that had died from oak wilt. For much less than I'd been quoted elsewhere, they removed the trees, left us with firewood that they stacked, and ground the stumps. They also trimmed a few of our trees and gave us some good advice. They were on time and were very professional. We will use them again.
