Great food at great prices...we love it- fast and easy!

We tried China Bistro tonight as my husband had been dying to try this lovely little restaurant. It is tucked in a small strip mall on Babcock but do not let that fool you. Once inside you notice how cozy and welcoming of an atmosphere. You are greeted upon entering and everyone there is very gracious; very much concerned about your experience. Since it was our first time, the owner even came to chat with us after dinner. The food is very good, fresh and deliciously prepared. I ventured a bit outside my comfort zone and while I am not usually a fan of green and red peppers, the food was excellent, wonderfully cooked and presented. You cannot beat the price and if you choose the dinner special (4pm to close) you receive soup, fried rice, entree, egg roll or crab rangoon or sweet and sour pork for around $7. You also receive the little fried crunchies with your soup. We were simply shocked when our server brought out our dinner. The portions were HUGE. I mean we left with four boxes of leftovers and we are not little eaters! At any rate, try this place - you will not be disappointed by this quiet, very clean, very welcoming restaurant. We are big Chinese food lovers - both Chinese American dishes as well as authentic Chinese dishes. We have enjoyed Chinese food in some of the best places across the US and Canada. . We have also had the pleasure of eating in China, specifically the Hunan and Guangdong provinces. China Bistro is definitely a cut above with their cozy atmosphere, their awesome food, and their fabulous service! If we could rate this restaurant with 6 stars, we would!!!

I really didn't know too much about this place until my sister recommended it. Its really a nice place, its family owned the father does the cooking and the daughter and I believe son do most of the serving.The portions are awesome for the price, dinner is usually from $6-$8 range, lunch is about $4.95. They have your traditional chinese cuisine but of course there's more to the menu. If your looking for a nice, welcoming experience, try China Bistro!!!
