      History of Alta Veterinary In 1963, Dr. Whiteley opened Alta Veterinary Hospital. His desire has always been to serve the people and their pets in the southeast portion of Salt Lake County. Our services have expanded over the years to include laser surgery, orthopedics, endoscopy, complete senior health care, and full dental services (including dental x-ray, endodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery). Dr. Whiteley has been in the forefront of veterinary technology over the years. We are able to provide progressive and up-date services for your pet here Alta Veterinary Hospital. Our hospital team is highly trained and dedicated to pet health care. We all share a common goal of being the best we can possibly be, in providing the high quality care your pets deserve. Over the many years our veterinary hospital has provided services including vaccinations,x-rays, spay and neuter services, dental cleanings, orthopedic care and diagnostics.
