Born out of a father’s love for his daughter, Zounds Hearing is an innovative hearing aid company focused on providing the most technologically advanced hearing aids to the world at an ultra-affordable price. Sam Thomasson, an accomplished electrical engineer, is the founder of Zounds Hearing. When Sam’s daughter Kate was 13 months old, a sudden illness destroyed most of her hearing. As a father, Sam was frustrated by the issues Kate was having with her hearing aids and made a promise to himself and to Kate that he would design something better. Over the next several years, Sam went to work in a lab he built in his own home and managed to develop over 57 exclusive hearing aid patents in the process. Thanks to the determination of her father, Kate received her first pair of Zounds Hearing Aids at age 16 and her life was changed forever.
