General Info
Market Broiler rose from the tradition of California seafood landmarks dating back to the 1950's. It's a casual, comfortable, moderately-priced, full-service, restaurant where fresh fish and seafood are prepared over mesquite charcoal flames. Key to its presentation is the fresh fish market, where all fish being served is on display. In addition to 18 fresh fish offered daily, entrees of fresh chicken or aged beef as well as salads and pasta are offered. The food is flavorful and portions are generous. The homestyle theme is borne out by the fact that the chowders, sauces, and dressings are made from scratch in each restaurant. Our popular sourdough bread is served warm at your table as a part of the meal.

Provided by YPmobileAtmosphere was pleasant, service was very nice, but the food was mediocre at best, however not priced too high.

Provided by YPmobileMy husband and I have given this place chance after chance to redeem itself. We loved the atmosphere (at first) and the food... But the cracks soon began to surface- and the service (beginning with the staff) significantly declined over the last year. Between the rude servers and the lengthy food prep/cook times as well as the question of wether or not the order would come out the way it was requested... We just couldn't take it anymore. It got to the point that we decided to only do a "pick up" when we wanted their food. Tonight was the last straw. When my husband walked in with the "pick up" I was concerned with the way the fish smelled. Low and behold, my husband is laying here in agony tonight, over what appears to be food poisoning just 4 hours after dinner.
That's it- we're done with this place.
