I am a bagel lover and have eaten bagels over the country. I found this place by accident, I was looking for Einstein's bagel shop. I love pumpernickel bagels and my wife loves cinnamon raisin bagels. well Einstein's is a bit further west. we stopped at Einstein's 1st and their bagel looked small, so we bought 2, one for me and one for the wife. Next we went to HB&D and to our delight the bagels looked way larger. The owner was a really nice guy to talk to, he told how long he has been there at his shop. how we can call before hand and place an order. We bought 6 of each. I don't have to look any where else for delicious bagels!!!!! YOU CAN'T GO WRONG!

This is a great place for REAL bagels. They also have great breakfasts. Have not tried a lunch but I bet they are good.

Best I have had in AZ and better than many in NY today. That being said, the owner does not care one bit about his customers. If you order ahead, good luck on them fulfilling the order, and his attitude is the worst. Will not go again!!!
