Established in 1979, Tacoma/Valley Radiation Oncology Centers is a cancer treatment facility that provides personalized cancer care, treatment, preventive and screening services. It employs a team of health professionals, including oncologists, dosimetrists and medical physicists that offers various treatment options, including radiation therapy. In addition, the facility provides information and consulting services and conducts support programs and clinical trials in association with various national health care organizations. Tacoma/Valley Radiation Oncology Centers is a partner with the Bellevue Community College Associates Program for radiation therapists. The facility is affiliated with the Auburn Regional Center for Cancer Care and serves individuals and families in Pierce County, Wash. Tacoma/Valley Radiation Oncology Centers maintains centers in Tacoma, Puyallup and Olympia, Wash.
