My wife took my watch in to get a new glass face, as my previous one got scratched. The rep at the Fast Fix store recommended a more durable, beefier crystal that was supposed to be scratch and damage resistant. While it was expensive, my wife decided to go ahead with it because we wanted something that would last. The store quoted a few days to get it made and installed. We waited well over three weeks to get the watch back, so that was definitely strike one. Now, just after having the watch for several months, I noticed last weekend that the face was cracked in one place. I've had dozens of watches over my lifetime, and I've never had one crack. My wife took the watch back this morning, and the lady working at the store refused to help her. She washed her hands of all responsibility. She said no one in the world would guarantee a watch crystal and that they don't know what happened to it. After my wife told me that, I gave them a call and spoke with the same lady, and she again provided no remediation except she said she may be able to give us a discount on another replacement. I told her absolutely not because this has never happened before to any watch I've owned, and that her company sold my wife that specific type of crystal because it was supposed to be more durable. Not only did they violate their side of the agreement by not getting the repair done anywhere near the provided time frame, the crystal is of lower quality than anything I've ever had. Terrible customer service. This company does not follow through and back up their work. They take way longer than quoted and then do not stand behind their inferior products.
