General Info
O'Scugnizzo Pizzeria was founded in 1914 by Eugeno Burlino. He only sold tomato pie (a pizza without mozzarella cheese) and they only cost a nickel. He was then succeeded by his son, Angelo "Chops" Burline, who made O'Scugnizzo what it is today. Almost 90 years later, O'Scugnizzo is still in business in the beautiful city of Utica and is now run by his son Steven Burline.

Provided by YPmobileThis website said it opening 24 hours, its not but the food there's is amazing
I love O'Scugnizzo Pizzeria, always have. As a child I remember living in the Washington Courts Apts. I remember the Pizza Truck coming around and selling us slices of pizza. That use to be one of the highlights waiting for that truck to come. Then after it stopped scraping up our pennies to walk to Bleecker St. to buy a #7. Still the favorite of most of the old and new who loved O'Scugnizzo. I just ordered a small #7 for myself!!! Can't talk about it and not order it! Nothing less than a 5

Provided by YP.comThey have incredible pizza well everything they have is great but the pizza is to die for. The only problem I have ever had was dilivery I have not ordred for dilivery in like 8 mo. so I can not comment to much on that But it was not what I expected now we just order and pick it up our selfs but it is so worth it. My aunt lives in anouther state and when she comes in to town as soon as she gets off the train we have to take her there everytime. Very laid back for the customer the staff is great just order go find a seat they bring it to you and when you are done then you can pay how they know what you got and can remember that long I will never know but they always do a great job I mean they have been open forever it was like some time in the early19th cenurty
Their pizza is always delicious and freshly made. It's not your typical pizza and thats what makes it so special. If you don't know the twist, just go give it a try for yourself. All I can say is I moved to California and when my Mom asked me if I wanted any reminders of the Italian food from East Utica, the first thing I asked for was an O'Scugnizzo sausage pizza.
