Got $3 for a 100 lb water heater. They said light iron was the same thing as steel, which makes no sense. Light iron is .03 cents/lb. Very diff from a metals price list on website I saw the other day called Surplus in VB. Glad it went here instead of a landfill.
Friendly. Clean. Courteous. Successful. I am paid cash with a smile. This recycling operation is spic and span. The service, attentive, organized and quick. It's a fun place to turn stuff in for cash and I know they pay the going rate at any time on salvaged items collected. This business is headed for financial greatness and I will be their main stockholder! Service with a smile...efficiently run by faithful employees making it all happen...day to day and making our world better also. In 2009 the aluminum cans were up to 60 cents a pound! I like to roll with the going rates high or low, it's not how much, but how it's used so it's a good thing doing business with Surplus a real win win situation!
