I called to John Leonti to rent out 10 yard dumpster. He said it's $330 and has 2 ton limit. He added, If container went over weight, I will be charged additionally.I agreed since his price was a bit less than other guys. He asked my credit card info and gave it to him to proceed. He delivered a container pretty quickly and I filled fully and needed one more so called him again to make it empty and deliver again. The driver came in quickly and took it out and delivered empty one again. During that process, they didn't mention anything about overweight.Couple days later, I was checking my bank statement and found John Leonti charged $ 468,13. So I called him asked about overcharge. He simply replied the container went over weight by 1.5 ton and he charged $ 138 additionally. I asked why he didn't tell anything about additional charge before he use my credit card. He was keep insisting I agreed overweight charge.Yes, I agreed but didn't agree to use my credit card freely. he had to notify the situation and ask permission to use my credit card for additional charge.Second, How the smallest 10 yard dumpster which has 2 ton limit can hold 2 ton + 1.5 ton = 3.5 ton ? Is it possible ??He said it is possible if I put heavy stuff like concrete. We were doing minor renovation and we didn't break any concrete. It's all thin wood, boxes, vinyl etc. All his words was suspicious but I was too busy to dispute with him so stopped but wrote a review here for the naive people like me.Couple days ago, the second container became full and called John to pick it up. Driver came in on June 29th ,Wednesday morning, and took it back. At this time, I asked to see actual scale ticket issued form dumping ground. John sent me an image of that ticket." Net weight = 4600 lbs which is 2.08 ton "I guess because of heavy rain on June 28th, container was soaked went over weight a little bit but I thought it's totally fine to pay additional for 0.08 ton. So I asked John again how much are u going to charge for the second container and he said,"Your container went over weight by 1.3 ton and you will be charged $ 110.50 "So I was rubbing my eyes to see the number again on the scale ticket received from John Leonti." Net weight = 4600 lbs which is 2.08 ton"I certainly did not have eye problem so asked him again." Hey, I'm seeing the scale ticket and net weight of the container is 2.08 ton. why you are keep saying it went over by 1.3 ton? If you want add 0.22 ton to charge additional for 0.3 ton, it would be fine and I can accept but 1.3 ton ????And he replied. Big surprise..." No, our 10 yard container has 1 ton weight limit and your container went over weight by 1.3 ton. "I was laughing and all my suspicions on the first dumpster was solved automatically. This guy is a joke, a liar and scammer.I called more than 10 dumpster companies before I reach John Leonti. No one said 10 cubic yard dumpster has 1 ton weight limit. Who are gonna rent a dumpster which can be filled only half of it's capacity. It does not make any sense.Search at google you will find this kind of info easily.Weight Limit: 10 yard dumpsters can typically hold 2-3 tons of material, or 4,000-6,000 lbsJohn Leonti was keep lying that he said to me it has 1 ton limit. My mistake was that I didn't make contract with him. but who will make contract to rent out the small damn dumpster ??So I showed him the info.about weight limit on 10 yard dumpster. I think 10 cubic yard with 2 ton weight limit is kinda industry standard. Then he said this is not his company's info and he keep lying his 10 yard container has 1 ton limit and explained to me.So I asked, " If you say so, why your dumpster is twice more expensive than other guys ? Is your dumpster made of gold or diamond ? It's just damn dumpster !! "Then he said "oh I'm a christian and never lied to people.. blah blah..Suggestion: Please avoid him. there are so many other options. Do not let him steal your money. If you really wanna
