General Info

John G DuPuis, MD, joined Ascension Medical Group Via Christi in 1992. He is a board-certified pediatrician with a specialized interest in pediatric sports medicine through the American Board of Pediatrics and Pediatric Sports Medicine. His best advice for parents is to put down their devices and electronics to spend actual face time with their children. Outside the office, Dr. DuPuis enjoys photography, computers, bicycling and hiking on vacations. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, he has made a home here with his wife, Dachshund named Bandit, two corn snakes named George and Lady and 25 fish. Dr. DuPuis has run the Wichita half marathon twice, despite his weakness to carrot cake. Before he was a physician, Dr. DuPuis was a mouse keeper in his college psychology department and cleaned hundreds of cages every week.
