I have an older dog that I had been taking to Dr. Mark Rigoni at the nearby Southern California Veterinary Hospital where I was really UNHAPPY with the service



I found Banfield on Google and their "free first appointment" coupon. It was 6:30 on a Saturday when I called them, and EVEN THOUGH they close at 7PM when I explained my dog was really suffering they said to come in.



After a quick examination, they said my dog had a lot of fluid in his lungs and because I had been planning on putting him down anyway they gently suggested maybe now was the time. With tears in my eyes, I said good bye to my friend and he died in my arms being petted eating cookies.



The staff there was unbelievably compassionate and even adjusted my bill as a courtesy. They won me over, and I will definitely be taking my other animals there.
