First...husband went in for severe Knee pain.Thinking since it was a weekend, it would be better to go to an urgent care instead of ER. Wrong..First it was an hour before closing. I overheard staff fussing because they had 6 patients to see...second, the NP on duty made comments suggesting we were wanting psin meds...I work at a hospital I know this drill..when he jokingly said, how about a hammer to help me sleep..her cool response was..we don't give any meds for sleep....geez...then I ask if he could get any kind of injection for relief? Her response, no we don't give injections, we are not sterile enough...now that's scary...I said that the place I work at does and she said, well maybe you should go there. I work in a hospital/clinic...I know that there are people who abuse drugs etc...but I was very disappointed we the care...needless to say, no help there and was told he has a chronic problem..no lady it was acute pain that came on full force...if nothing else..the place should let you know before you psy your 50.00 copay that they can't or will not treat pain...very disappointed and will not go or recommend them..I will say the young lady in front was very helpful and pleasant!

My daughter went in on a Monday. Prescribed antibiotics for a sinus infection and bad ear infection. Tuesday- feeling worse to the point could not go to work; returned to Urgent care- obtained a steroid shot. Wednesday- did not feel any better, but went into work. Thursday, still feeling bad, called Urgent care to obtain a work note. Dialed the LOCAL number. I asked the lady who answered whether she was located at the Hewitt Clinic. Like a robot (and in a rude voice) "This is the answering service, how may I help you". I again asked if she was located in the actual clinic as I needed to talk to someone there. "This is the answering service, how may I help you". I told her "I KNOW you are answering for the urgent care, are you actually at the clinic? I need to talk to someone THERE". Her response, " I answer calls for the urgent care, how may I help you". Like a dang robot. Then she states do you have a HIPPA release for your daughter. I told her I am not sure as I didn't go with her this last time, but we had filled out forms for me to do so, but since this is a new year, new forms? maybe, I was not sure. (My daughter tells me she hasn't updated or changed anything, so I should still be on the releasae of information). "You don't have HIPPA release, I am sorry, I can not help you" I told her nicely (gritting my teeth), Thank you, I'll have my daughter call when she can. My daughter calls me later feeling even worse. She wants to go back to Urgent care. I told her as soon as I get off I can go with her. She calls me back a little later and tells me she feels so bad, maybe she needed to go elsewhere? So, I took her to the Hospital ER. Paid my high deductable (not counting the one's at Urgent Care) to be told by the ER doctor...."Ummm...the medicine they gave you-it's not going to work. That is not the correct antibiotic to be taken for your symptoms/diagnoses". So, new antibiotics. Next day??? We are feeling WAY BETTER. WE went by the urgent care for the work release. Told to hold on. 35 minutes later- no papers, no communication what so ever. We had them fax the note the next day. Rude people, inaccurate medication, costly visits. (Cost me over 300.00 in total for this infection, not counting what the insurance paid). I used to LOVE this place. Has been my go to for over 2 years when I can't see my PCP. NEVER AGAIN. Going to Providence Express from now on. Sorry to see this service go down. Now that it's a "large" compnay, it has rude, uncaring individuals. And the call to customer service...the local number routes it to a call center in Arizona (Per the receptionist at the urgent care).

Pointless

They have an option on their website where you can check in and "wait at home" I did this and they called me and told me to come in at a certain time and I still had to wait for almost an hour. There's nothing urgent about how fast they move. And I still had to pay an urgent co-pay which is $50 with my insurance.

Urgent on their time table

My wife had a major reaction to ant bites she received and being new to the area made the mistake of believing the Urgent in this name. She has been sitting more then a hour here and still hasn't seen a doctor. Only thing hasn't closed is her airways completely. She was also left in a room alone for more then 20 minutes. DO NOT COME HERE!!!

Great Service!

Wow! This clinic really goes above and beyond with patient care! The wait time was so short and the rooms were great for my children with the free snacks and TV's! I would certainly recommend this clinic!
