B&B Theatres stands for Bills and Bagby, two families that both launched movie theatres and joined forces-for business and love dating back to 1924. After years of roaming rural Missouri with films, projection equipment, seats and snack bar, and screening movies in barns, schools, and parks, a circuit of drive-in and indoor movie theatres were established. It was not until 1980 when the Bills and Bagby families cemented decades of friendship by formally joining their two theatre companies into B&B Theatres. Now in the fourth generation of the family business, B&B has seen countless advances in sound, projection, and the overall movie theatre experience.
